Martin Nerber
Chief of Police
Martin Nerber was appointed Police Chief on January 15, 2013 by Mayor Fratto.
Chief Martin (Marty) Nerber has resided in the Phoenix area since 1998 where he and his wife have been raising their family of boys, busy in the community with Pop Warner football, basketball and a little baseball. The Chief brings over 21 years of law enforcement experience with him from various departments throughout his career. Starting his career in 1992 at the Ellicott Police Department, a rural town in Chautauqua County, until he transferred to the Town of Clay Police Department in 1994. Chief Nerber worked his way from Patrolman, spending seven years as a Detective until he was promoted up through the ranks to Lieutenant. The Town of Clay Police merged with the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office in the summer of 2008, he transferred into that Department where he still holds the rank of Lieutenant assigned as a watch commander. The Chief enjoys kayaking, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.

Roxanne Demo
Village Clerk/Treasurer
Roxanne Demo began working at the Village of Phoenix in July of 2012 as Deputy Clerk/Treasurer. In May of 2013 she was appointed as Village Clerk/Treasurer.
She has been a resident of Phoenix all her life. She was employed with P&C/Penn Traffic for 32 years most recently as Executive Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer. Roxanne has worked in various departments within the company including Assistant to the Vice President of Finance, Corporate Planning, Corporate Accounting and Bank Reconciliations.
Outside of work she enjoys scrapbooking, stamping, quilting and camping.

Laura Gonzalez

Laura Gonzalez began working at the Village Clerk's Office in September of 2012.
She moved to Albany, NY in July 2000 from Argentina. She graduated in 2003 from Mildred Elley College located in Latham, NY obtaining a Business Management degree. After graduating she and her husband moved to the Phoenix area.
Outside of work she enjoys being a mom, spending time with her family, making jewelry, collecting coins and reading.
